Horry-Georgetown Technical College has been a leading South Carolina

Division, HGTC has built an international reputation for preparing

faculty and staff represent more than 30 countries, and come to the
College from all over the United States, we remain a true community
college, with more than 90% of our more than 5,000 students living,
working and remaining in South Carolina. In fact, 4 out of every 5
students at HGTC are residents of Horry or Georgetown County. And
