Instructions for using Current Semester GPA Calculator
  1. To calculate your Grade Point Average for the current semester, for each class enrolled in, enter the number of credits under "Credit Hours" and anticipated grade under "Letter Grade".

  2. After you have entered your credit hours and letter grades for each course, click on "Calculate current semester's GPA" button.

  3. You may go back and change any letter grade to try different scenarios. If you change a letter grade, simply press the "Calculate current semester's GPA" button again to see the new results.

  4. Make sure to clear the calculators when you have finished to prevent others from viewing your grades.

    To clear any information you have entered in the form, press the "Reset" button for each class, and press the Reset button below "Total Grade Points" to clear the calculator.

Instructions for using the Cumulative GPA Calculator:

The Cumulative GPA Calculator can be used to project what your total GPA will be by using the information entered in the above "Current Semester GPA Calculator" and your true current overall GPA.

  1. From your last grade mailer, locate your cumulative Quality Hours (QHRS) and cumulative Quality Points (QPTS).

  2. Insert these figures from the mailer in the form below under "Quality Hours" and "Quality Points".

  3. Click on the "Compute" button for the form to calculate your current cumulative GPA. This will appear below "Cumulative GPA".

  4. Click on the "Calculate total GPA, including current semester's" button. This will calculate your current cumulative GPA including your current semester projections entered in the above calculator.
