The Life Scholarship Program was
approved by the 1998
General Assembly for each academic year for the amount of
tuition and fees to eligible undergraduate students
attending
two-year colleges or universities in South Carolina.

Carolina Commission on Higher Education.
In order to receive the Life
Scholarship at Horry-Georgetown
Technical College, the student must, among other things:
- Not be in default on a Federal
Title IV or State of South
Carolina educational loan; not owe a refund on Federal
Title IV or State of South Carolina student
financial aid
program.
- Not have been convicted of any
felonies.
- Not have been convicted of an alcohol
or drug-related
misdemeanor offense during the preceding calendar year
defined as 12 months from the date of the start of the school
for the period of this award.
- Not or will not be enrolling in
the Learning Success Center
(LSC) course for 20032004.
- Renewal eligibility is based on
my earning no less than a
3.0 cumulative GPA and earning 30 hours per academic
year.
- Turn in the LIFE
certification. (This form can be printed
out directly from the web. You will need to sign it and turn
it into the Financial Aid Office.)
