Application  Procedures

  

There are three ways to apply for Financial Aid:

1) For the fastest results, you can apply online by clicking the link below. Make sure to indicate Horry-Georgetown Technical College's school code, 004925.

 

2) You can also bring the paper FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) to the Financial Aid Office on the Conway Campus or the front office at the Georgetown or Grand Strand campuses. We will key it for you and send it in for processing.
 

3) You may send your FAFSA application through the mail to the Federal Student Aid Programs Processing Center in the envelope enclosed with the application. Make sure to indicate Horry-Georgetown Technical College's school code, 004925, on the back page.

NOTE: New students and former students not enrolled the previous semester should apply for admission to the College. A student may apply for financial aid prior to admission, but no aid  commitment can be made until a student is admitted to a program at the College. Financial aid does not cover the College application fee required by the Admissions Office. All applications for financial aid are available from the Financial Aid Office (Conway Campus) or the front office (Georgetown or Grand Strand campuses) at Horry-Georgetown Technical College. To obtain priority for Financial Award or Scholarships, applications should be submitted prior to April 1.
