After an international applicant is admitted to Horry-Georgetown Technical College, a two-semester tuition deposit of $4,408 must be paid. Once the tuition deposit is received, the applicant will be issued a SEVIS Form 1-20 by Horry-Georgetown Technical College. This is the form a student will need in order to request an F-1 Student Visa.  The tuition deposit may be paid by MasterCard, Visa, or Discover card or by a check or a money order payable by a U.S. bank.  The tuition deposit is refundable if the international student does not enroll in classes at Horry Georgetown Technical College.  NOTE: a tuition deposit should not be paid unless requested.

Housing and Transportation

Horry-Georgetown Technical College is a commuter college and does not provide dormitories or housing on campus.  Students are responsible for securing their own housing.  A public transportation system is available in the area, but its schedule may not be compatible with a student’s classes or area of residence.  It is recommended that an international student consider purchasing or leasing a vehicle while a student in the United States.

To help you plan financially, following is an estimated breakdown of expenses for 9 months, which includes two semesters tuition for a full-time international student:
