Admission
to the Forestry Management Technology Program is
on a first-qualified, first-admitted basis, and
applicants are encouraged to apply early and complete
all minimum program admissions requirements (submission
of admission application; $25 application fee; minimum
placement/assessment test scores; official high school
and college transcripts) as soon as possible.
* Minimum placement/assessment test requirements for the
Forestry Management Technology Program are as follows:
* SAT Verbal - 420, Math - 440
* ACT Reading - 17, English - 17, Math - 18
* Compass Reading - 80, Writing Skills - 70,
Pre-Algebra - 60
* ASSET Reading - 42,
Writing - 44, Pre-Algebra - 45
Notification of admission to the Forestry Management
Technology program begins in January each year for the
following fall semester. After admission decisions have
been finalized each year, no waiting list is maintained.
An applicant who applies for admission and receives
notification that he/she was not admitted must notify
the Admissions Office if he/she would like to re-apply
and be considered for admission for the following year.
What are the Graduation Requirements?
Forestry Management Technology students must maintain a
Grade Point Average of 2.0 and complete the 77 semester
credit hours required of the program, including the
summer internship, in order to graduate with an
Associate Degree in Agriculture, Forestry Management
Technology. |
