Program Overview

Horry-Georgetown Technical College offers a two-year program of instruction to qualified students who wish to become forest technicians. The curriculum emphasizes the practical application of forestry principles in a well-rounded program of science, theory and field training. The program is recognized by the Society of American Foresters and is approved for Cooperative Work Experience credit. Select courses will transfer to four-year forestry programs.
