This course has a higher level of mathematics required for entry
but also concentrates more on theory and design. Graduates can either enter
employment or continue their education through this transferable degree to
four-year institutions that offer a Bachelor of Engineering Technology.
Employers are Santee Cooper, Horry Telephone, AVX, Tupperware, and International
Paper. Salaries range from 24,000 to 34,000. Jobs include power system design,
network technician, SCADA technician and system design or implementation.
