Jessica Merrit |
Jessica Merrit, a
2003 graduate of Loris High School has been a member of Educational
Talent Search since the eighth grade. She is the daughter of J.T.
and Dianne Merritt. Jessica was accepted to the Math and Science
Program at the University of Tennessee when she was in the ninth
grade. Jessica’s plans after graduation are to attend the College
of Charleston and major in political science or anything that is
medically related. Let’s wish Jessica well as she embarks on her new
future.

Amanda Stephens |
Amanda Stephens, a senior at North Myrtle Beach
High School scored 1270 on the SAT test. Presently she is ranked
number two in her class. She is the daughter of Milton and Angela Gore
of Little River SC. Amanda is a member of the track team and various
other organizations in her school. Amanda has been a member of
Educational Talent Search since ninth grade, participating in almost
every activity sponsored by the program. Amanda plans to become an
orthodontist after completing high school.

Eugene Bellamy |
The Governors Citizenship Award is presented by
the State to a deserving student chosen by the school, who has
exemplified excellence in leadership and communication. Eugene is a 10th
grader at Conway High School. Eugene is an active member of the
program, representing Educational Talent Search as the 2002-2003 Mr.
Educational Talent Search. He is the son of Eugene and Carol Bellamy.
